If you've been to Little Thistle lately, I assume you noticed the huge ice rink - it's hard to miss! We now know what it's for - curling. Curling has been growing in popularity over the past couple of years. The Curling Club of Rochester started a league in 2016 that is still going strong today, and they also do pop-up workshops, tournaments and more throughout the season.

Over the weekend, people hit the ice for the first pop-up curling at Little Thistle. No equipment needed, the Curling Club provides it all. You can follow Little Thistle and/or the Curling Club of Rochester to hear when they'll be hosting another.

Little Thistle will also be hosting Rochester's first outdoor bonspiel aka a curling tournament. It's a guaranteed three-game weekend of curling. Curling Club of Rochester will provide meals on Saturday and Sunday. The theme is Froth, Frost, and Flannel. The cost is $180/team (4 curlers). Click here for more info.
