I'm thrilled to tell you guys that Sam Alex of Taste Of Country Nights gave us a lot of info on tonight's 50th annual CMA Awards! I talked to him yesterday, and was pretty surprised to learn these six things...

Did you catch all of that!? What an awesome amount of insight as to what we can expect tonight!

1) Rascal Flatts and Luke Bryan like their whiskey. Sam had the pleasure of indulging in that with them - lucky duck!

2) Val and Trisha Yearwood have something in common. She was a lone trick-or-treater ("Hallow-weiner" as I call them) last year too!

3) Expect something amazing from Dolly Parton and Penatonix.

4) He has no idea which star he'll talk to at what time, but he's prepared for anyone on the red carpet!

5) Carrie Underwood might be trying to break a Reba McEntire CMA record. Seriously, girl has 11 outfit changes planned! Who's ready for a drinking game tonight?

6) In response to the Faith Hill news from yesterday... we have no idea still if she or Tim is missing the show due to her mother's passing. We'll respect whatever choice they make.
