Area Snowfall Totals — 11.7 Inches Where?

A lot of schools were closed today due to the nasty weather conditions. How much snow did we get? Totals from the National Weather Service in LaCrosse indicate over 11.7 inches in Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin. Here in Rochester, 10.0 inches were recorded.

Other area totals were:

Oronoco and Hammond: 10.5 inches

LaCrosse: 5.0 inches

Lanesboro: 7.9 inches

Grand Meadow: 8.0 inches

Winona/Goodview: 8.9 inches
