Austin, MN (KROC AM News) -  A rural Austin man is facing a 3rd degree murder charge in connection with a fatal heroin overdose that happened earlier this year.

20 year old Jordan Flugum was arraigned Wednesday and his bail was set at $100,000.

The Mower County criminal complaint says he supplied some heroin to the 20 year old victim March 26th, trading the illegal drug for a 55 inch TV set.

The complaint says the victim overdosed later that day and Flugum and another man revived him. The victim asked for more heroin but Flugum says he turned him down.

The victim ended up at his mother’s house where she found him dead in bed the next day. An autopsy shows the cause of death was “acute heroin and methamphetamine toxicity. “
