We all eat pizza. Especially pepperoni pizza. Pizza comes in all shapes and forms. My girlfriend Heather will always blot the grease off the top of a pepperoni pizza when we order it out or make it at home and I always used to give her a hard time about it. Little did I know she was the smart one or our relationship.

A study has found that blotting pizza with a napkin to remove excess grease can save your life!

The study (by LabDoor magazine) says dabbing extra grease off the surface of a pizza slice can save the average pizza-eating American the equivalent of 20 pizza slices, or nearly 2 pounds a year.

Blotting pizza also gets rid of 4.5 grams of fat and more than 40 calories. The average American reportedly eats about 23 pounds of pizza every year. I think I 'raise the bar' on that average. Here's more on the story: Pizza blotting - Alan
