I can't imagine how much this would have hurt. And he didn't see it coming, with the bright lights in his face.

Dustin Lynch was injured during a performance on Friday night when a total moron threw a can of beer at the stage that struck him in the face.

It happened at MulletFest in Niceville, Florida, just as Lynch was finishing up his cover of Garth Brooks's "Friends in Low Places."

Dustin explained, "It was a completely full can and it felt like a baseball had hit me."

While he didn't see who threw the can, fans immediately began pointing the person out and a small brawl ensued, though the fan was not apprehended.

Despite blood gushing from his wound, Lynch says, "We finished the show out like we always do. It was just a little bloodier than usual."

After the set, Lynch was taken to an emergency room where doctors were able to stem the bleeding. He later received stitches, but the singer says this won't slow him down.
