Topic: “Lilies: Jewels of the Garden”
Presented by: Peggy Nerdahl, North Star Lily Society
Peggy started growing lilies in 2008. She has about 200 different lilies in raised beds in Chaska, MN. Peggy starts lilies from scales and from bulbils. She is hybridizing Asiatics with a current goal of trying to make more ruffly Asiatics. Her program will be about different kinds of lilies, the culture of lilies, a little on disease problems and some information on propagation and lots of photos of lilies.
