After 14 years, Christine McVie returned to Fleetwood Mac for the start of their 40-city tour! It was quite a roadtrip, as it was a 'last minute decision' to go. My girlfriend Heather and I got to target Center by 6pm, for the 8pm start.
We went to the box office to see if there were any 'promoter release seats'. Those are the seats where the promoter will give back to the box office that he didn't use. After finding out there were none of those, our next decision was to be at the mercy of the scalpers, or as I like to call them, 'street entrepeneur's'
After paying a little above regular prices, we made our way to the Target Center to see the show.
The show started at 8:15 and when the lights went down, the crowd went wild. In all my years in radio, I've never seen Fleetwood Mac live, so it was a bucket list thing for me.
And they didn't disappoint, either. From the sweet vocals of Christine McVie and Stevie Nicks, to the great guitar work of Lindsey Buckingham, bass work of John McVie and drums from Mick Fleetwood.
Did you go to the show? How did you like it? What was your favorite song they performed? - Alan
