How Many Times Can You Re-Use The Bath Towel?

Have you ever re-used the bath towel after a use? I do all the time. I would use them until they started to smell like Frito's Corn Chips. Then it was time to wash them.

According to Keri Petersen, M.D., internal medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, you can use a bath towel about 3-4 times. Any longer and it can breed bacteria and mold.

It also makes a difference on how you put the towel away, too. Spread them out on the rack and not bunched up, so they dry better. Make sure you turn on the bathroom fan, too, so the air is less humid.
