Love chili? You will love the Chili Challenge, today, from 4-8pm at the Peace Plaza in downtown Rochester. It helps benefit Boys and Girls Club of Rochester.
There will be many types of chili, from mild to wild. I love a good spicy chili, too, especially if there's a chunk of cornbread mixed in it.
Plus, I will be at the "Wet Sponge Tossing Booth" at 4pm. Stop by. I dare ya....-Alan

• Raffle tickets will be available or the legendary 100-bottle beer wall!

Simmer down your taste buds with The Cool Down! Stop by Thyme Restaurant, Legends Bar & Grill, Big Brad's on Broadway, and Kathy's Pub to win fantastic prizes: wine/bourbon tasting at Andy's Liquor NE; one month membership to Rochester Athletic Club; 18 holes at Eastwood Golf Course, and stays at Wyndam Hotel or Hampton Inn.

Luke 'n' Bob, Texas will be performing at Chili Challenge this year! Opening act is Thomas and the Rain.

Alan Reed from the morning show will be at the Chili Challenge “Wet Sponge Toss Booth” at 4pm. Stop by, buy some wet sponges and see if you can hit him in the face for charity!
