Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man was arrested Friday after being treated for injuries he suffered in a traffic wreck.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office says 28-year-old Lucas Ernst was driving on Marion Road near Burr Oak School around 1:30 Friday afternoon when his vehicle crossed the centerline and collided with another car.

The Rochester woman driving the other car suffered non-life threatening injuries. Ernst was treated for minor injuries and then taken into custody.

A spokesman says a search of his car turned up evidence of methamphetamine and it’s suspected he was under the influence of the drug at the time of the wreck.
