Rochesterfest Info- New Location-Free Shuttle Rides-New Parade Route

Rochesterfest kicks off this Saturday, June 20th and goes through June 28th. This years theme is "A Walk in the Park", as the new location is at Soldiers Field Park, due to the construction and expansion at the Mayo Civic Center.

From Rochesterfest chairman Brent Ackerman, who shared this info:

* ‘Free Trolley Rides’ are available from the downtown Marriott Hotel and back weekdays between 11am and 2pm.

*If you want to ride your bike to the Fest, there’s a Bike Corral near the Golf Course parking lot.

*Three marked Mayo Clinic parking lots just north of 6th St will be available after 5pm and all day Saturday June 27th. The K-Mart parking lot across from Soldiers Field is also available all week.

*Enjoy great food from 30 Fabulous Vendors on the Fest Grounds at Soldiers Field, Monday thru Saturday.

*Get your ROCHESTERFEST BUTTON for just $5…it’s good for discounts all over town, including FREE swimming at Soldier’s Field Pool

*There’s even more entertainment this year on the Treasure Island Stage. Noontime Entertainment…plus Happy Hour Music weekdays at 4pm.

*The Rochesterfest Treasure Hunt begins on Sunday June 21st. Find the hidden treasure and win $1,000! Get clues at Rochesterfest-dot-com. Bonus clues available at Trade Mart Furniture and Whistle Binkies Pubs.

*The Rochesterfest Grand Parade, sponsored by CLEMENTS SUBARU, has a new route. It starts on 6th St SW, turns south on 7th Ave and then comes up George Gibbs Drive back to Soldiers Field. (Map on Rochesterfest-dot-com).
