Son Of Eddie Montgomery Dead At 19

Singer Eddie Montgomery of the country duo Montgomery Gentry shared some devastating news on Sunday.

Montgomery's 19-year-old son Hunter has passed away after an accident left him on life support in a Kentucky hospital.

Eddie said in a statement, "My son Hunter went to heaven today. I appreciate all your prayers and love and thank you for giving us privacy as we grieve and say goodbye."

No further details on the nature of the fatal accident were given.

Hunter was the youngest of Montgomery's four kids with his ex-wife Tracy. He got engaged to his girlfriend in August during one of his dad's concert.

The funeral arrangements for Hunter were pending.
