BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (AP) — This is no ordinary rummage sale. Eager shoppers arrived more than three hours before that sale began in a Twin Cities suburban neighborhood.

Dozens of people were drawn to the garage sale at the Bloomington home of the beloved former Minnesota Vikings Coach Bud Grant. After a quick pep talk Wednesday, the coach brought out his old whistle and the shopping game was on.

The 87-year-old Grant took photos, signed autographs and lamented that he should have sold tickets, maybe even beer. Shoppers looked over Vikings memorabilia, photos, hunting decoys and fishing rods and reels. Cash appreciated. Checks accepted.

The garage sale continues Thursday and Friday.
