How many times have you attempted taking pictures of fireworks? A lot right? Ok, now how many times have they ACTUALLY worked out? Haha.. You don't have to answer that! Here are some tips to make those pictures great this year!

1. Make sure the flash is off.

Bonus tip: If you want to take a photo of someone with the fireworks behind them, set it up so their face is lit by a light behind you.

2.  Add skyline! This will make you look like a professional! Pictures of JUST fireworks tend to be boring. If you get something in the photo like your kid, the bridge, or lake (whatever it is you're near) it will also help you remember that moment.

3.  Turn off the HDR feature. That way your camera will take three quick photos at different exposures, then combines them into one image to make the lighting look more natural.

Good luck and happy 4th!
