Why Were Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani at the White House?

I thought this was a strange place for them to be, but it turns out - they were invited! Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani paid a visit to The White House, for President Obama's final State Dinner.

Blake and Gwen weren't the only celebrities there. Chance The Rapper was there, and Mario Batali cooked the last Obama State Dinner meal.
