‘CMA Country Christmas’ 2019: Peek Inside the Big Show
The 2019 CMA Country Christmas television special is just around the corner. And if you're one of those people who likes to get into the holiday spirit before you've even carved your Thanksgiving turkey, you can get a look at what to expect when the big event airs in early December.
Trisha Yearwood is the CMA Country Christmas host for 2019, taking over those duties for the first time from Reba McEntire, who assumed the role from Sugarland singer Jennifer Nettles in 2017. This year marks the show's 10th anniversary, and Kristin Chenoweth, for King & Country, Chris Janson, Tori Kelly, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, Runaway June, CeCe Winans, Brett Young and Chris Young were all on hand to perform when the special taped in Nashville in September.
“Music, memories and enjoying the season with loved ones are what make Christmastime so special,” Yearwood says. “Hosting CMA Country Christmas is an opportunity to share joy and celebrate the holidays with friends and family everywhere.”
Country music fans will be able to watch CMA Country Christmas 2019 on ABC on Dec. 3 at 9PM ET, but if you're itching for some holiday fun already, flip through the photo gallery below for a hint at what to expect that night.
