80-Year-Old Rochester Man Injured in Crash
Stewartville, MN (KROC-AM News) - An elderly Rochester man was injured Monday morning in a traffic crash on the north edge of Stewartville.
The State Patrol says 80-year-old Lowell Peterson was pulling out of a parking lot onto Highway 63 when his car collided with a car traveling south on the highway. Peterson was transported to St. Marys Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The other driver, 22-year-old Alexis Herrerra of Rochester was not hurt.
The crash was reported at around 10:50 AM. The State Patrol report indicates both drivers were using their seatbelts.
