We've never seen milkshakes like this before!

Sometimes I come across a photo on Facebook that is just too delicious to scroll past. That happened to me over the weekend, when I saw a post from a place called Steel Plow Burger Company. What was the photo of, you ask? I'll show you:

I don't know about you, but THAT is one of the most impressive milkshakes I've ever laid eyes on. I had to know more.

Steel Plow Burger Company is a restaurant with two locations in the Quad Cities. One is in Moline, and the other is at 1430 E. 52nd Street in Davenport. As the name suggests, Steel Plow offers a variety of specialty burgers, but they're also known for their out-of-this-world milkshakes. They're listed on the menu under "Harp's Above the Rim Shakes." I'm going to take a guess and say the photo posted above is the Cotton Candy Circus flavor, but if that's not really your thing, there are some other EVEN MORE AMAZING flavors. How does Cookies & Cream Cheesecake sound? Or Glazed Donut Strawberry Shortcake? Birthday Cake? M&M Fudge Brownie? Take a look at some of these impressive shakes:

Have you ever seen milkshakes like this before? Because I sure haven't! Steel Plow also offers a 'Shake & Burger of the Month,' and the ones for August were inspired by the Iowa State Fair...

I predict I'll be taking a trip to Davenport in the very near future! You can read more about Steel Plow Burger Company and check out their menu (and more photos) on their Facebook page HERE.

Want to know where to get some other great milkshakes in our area? No problem! Just check out my article from last week HERE.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
