Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A second Rochester man has pleaded guilty to being involved in the shooting that left the victim a quadriplegic.

28-year-old Abdirahman Abdullahi today entered into a plea agreement with Olmsted County prosecutors and admitted to a second-degree assault charge. Three other felony charges, including first and second-degree attempted murder, are being dropped.

Abdullahi and another man were accused of the attack on a 22-year-old man in the hallway at the Meadow Park Apartments in southeast Rochester on August 7, 2019. The victim was shot multiple times and is paralyzed from his neck down.

The other defendant in the case, 27-year-old Iman Iman, was accused of actually shooting the victim and previously pleaded guilty to a first-degree assault charge. He is now serving a sentence of just over 12 years in prison.

Abdullahi is scheduled to be sentenced on February 18th.
