Every time there is a poll asking people in the Rochester area what restaurant they miss, Hardee's comes up. People really miss going to Hardee's on the regular in Rochester. Well, less than thirty minutes away is your chance to try a brand new Hardee's in the area.

A listener alerted me to the new Hardee's in St. Charles, Minnesota! He said, "It's part of the new Love's Travel Stop." So I Googled it and...it kinda showed up. So I had to do some digging.

The Hardee's in St Charles, just off I-90, opened February 4, 2021, and is open 24/7 and was developed as part of the Love's Travel Stop. Together they brought over 50 jobs to town.

Kayla Wuerflein, Love's store manager, says the community has been a great part of opening in St. Charles.

The best part of this community has been the support and hospitality this town has given to the Loves and Hardees’. We have brought in over 50 jobs to the community. We offer a variety of different services including; fuel, propane, a fresh kitchen, and Hardees.

Does this signal more development for St. Charles? Blake Koebke, President of the St Charles Area Chamber of Commerce said, "there are plans to develop the area some more, with a tire shop and potentially a second restaurant and hotel, but not set in stone yet on the hotel and restaurant."
