Carrie Underwood may be headlining her Cry Pretty 360 Tour, but her son Isaiah is the true star behind the scenes.

Sitting down for her first interview on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Oct. 3, Underwood shared how her massive tour is a family affair. Husband Mike Fisher and their two sons, 4-year-old son Isaiah and eight-month-old Jacob, are along for the ride, and as the superstar tells Colbert, they "love" being on the road with her.

And while the show has dazzled fans who fill up arenas across the country, it sounds like it has been just as thrilling as experience for Isaiah. Underwood shares that in addition to getting to ride his scooter around the venues, he's also been making friends with the crew backstage.

"Somebody recently called him the 'mayor of catering' because he's just like 'hi everybody!' and loves seeing everyone," she says. "He's such a people guy. He's living the dream."

Underwood also delivered a performance of her powerful song "Low" off Cry Pretty while on Colbert.

In another recent interview, the powerhouse singer said that along with juggling a hectic touring schedule, her family is still a priority, revealing that she gets up to feed Jacob every morning at 3AM.

“I feel like there’s a lot of women who feel like they have to give up (having a family) to follow their dreams, and hopefully they can see that you can juggle," Underwood says. "You can have it all. We are living the dream.”

Underwood is set to host the CMA Awards for the 12th year in a row in 2019, but with a new pair of hosts by her side, Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire. She's nominated for three of the night's biggest awards: Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year for Cry Pretty and Female Vocalist of the Year. The show airs on Nov. 13 at 8PM ET on ABC.
