For the past few weeks, we've been asking area country bands and acts to enter our contest to open Quick Country's first annual Harvest Jam country music festival. We've had some really great contenders throw their hats (or songs) into the ring, and now it's your turn!

We have four finalists who are vying to win this coveted spot at Rochester's premier country music festival. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to vote for who you think it should be.

The process is pretty simple, really. Just watch the videos and listen to the songs of these four finalists, then vote for your favorite. Told you it was easy!

You can vote once per day, and voting will end at 11:59 pm on Friday, August 14. The winning act will open up the Harvest Jam country music festival on Saturday, September 12, and have one of their songs played in Quick Country 96.5's music rotation for two weeks prior to the show.

We've got some great finalists, and we'd encourage you to listen to them all! Here are the four finalists, listed in alphabetical order.

    End of the Earth

    Emily Whitcomb is a versatile acoustic singer/songwriter from Rochester, MN. Her songs range in subject from love & life lessons to breast cancer awareness & foster-parent appreciation. She has found success in numerous national and international songwriting competitions, resulting in her songs being featured in several ad campaigns and children's musical productions, as well as on the special features section of the Footloose (2011) Blu-ray.

    The Listings, are an original group officially formed in early 2013 by a trio of local musicians who all shared one desire, to write and play “good” music well. The Listings sound, made up of drums, six-string and bass guitar, harmonica, and multiple vocal styles can be described as warm energy driven grooves that form a backbone for modern lyrical stories about life, the seasons, love and love lost. Drawing from influences including legends John Lee Hooker, Bob Dylan, and The Beatles as well as modern artists such as The Lumineers, Gary Clark Jr., and Dawes the group strives to mold their own brand of Blues-Americana Rock.
