Countdown to Double Down Tour – Minneapolis

If you think it's too early to start talking about the upcoming Eric Church concerts in Minneapolis, think again. It's been over 2 years since 'Chief' rolled into the Target Center on his 'Holdin My Own' tour which featured no opening acts, and 3 hours of music with a 20 minute intermission. Being a long-time fan and 'Church Choir' member, the first thing I thought about after that show was what would he do down the road to top this tour? Well, he has, in one fell swoop. It's the Double Down Tour, and it rolls into downtown Minneapolis on Friday February 8th & Saturday the 9th.

Eric Church Headquarters states that he's hitting the road with 17 buses, and an unknown convoy of tractor trailers. If it's anything like the last tour, I expect it to be at least 13 or more semi tractor trailers. Based on the original fan club announcement video below, and much speculation and rumors, we can expect something very "unique" and "epic".

Possible special guests are part of that fan speculation, but 'Headquarters' has announced such unique features as a Pop-Up Store in each city, special hotel rates, hotel bar deals, a Jack Daniels engraving van, custom boots, and an all new  Eric Church APP. The Desperate Man album is out as you know, but more surprises await tied to this tour I think. There are not a ton of seat options left for the 2 Minneapolis shows, but there are some still available thru AXS. Buy yours HERE for both Target Center shows.

I'm happy to say I don't have to wait until February, for I'm traveling to Omaha,NE next weekend for the kick-off of the tour opening weekend.
