From May 1st to May 8th there will be a fundraiser called #GiveAtHomeMN. The virtual event is being organized by GiveMN, the same nonprofit that hosts the annual Give to the Max Day, which raised $21,668,705 last year.

According to GiveMN,

This one-time event in May is in response to the needs of hundreds of nonprofit organizations in Minnesota that are financially impacted by the virus pandemic.

Brian Hale, the Marketing & Development Director at Bear Creek Services, passed the info on. They are one of the many nonprofits participating in #GiveAtHomeMN. Executive Director Linda Driessen says...

Bear Creek Services hopes to raise funds for individuals supported in our programs who have developmental disabilities or traumatic brain injury. Like many other nonprofit organizations, our program-generated revenues have declined because of the virus pandemic.
