I've been spending a bit too much time (and cash) at TJ Maxx lately. It truly is a magical place where my money disappears. But on one of my spending spree journeys, I noticed a new place opening up right next to TJ Maxx in Rochester, Minnesota. Driftless Art Academy is written on the windows and below is everything you need to know about this new place opening soon in Rochester.
What is Driftless Art Academy in Rochester, Minnesota?
According to the info that the owners sent me, Driftless Art Academy is an art education program, teaching realistic oil painting to beginning and experienced artists. They will be offering weekly classes at their new location by TJ Maxx.
What ages does Driftless Art Academy teach?
Oil painting will be taught to adults and teens ages 12 and up. If a younger individual can handle sitting during the 2.5 hour class, they may be able to join as well. Kids as young as 7 can attend a class using pastels during a 1 hour class.
At Driftless Art Academy, we teach the foundational components of all good art. We use oil painting to help students understand and develop these skills to an outstanding level. All of our students follow our dynamic and proven curriculum, working through series of assignments, to advance their abilities.
