Don’t Want To Shovel Your Driveway? There’s An App For That

We're just now digging out from our first big snowfall of the season, but if you're already sick of shoveling, help is just a few clicks away... with this new app.

It's called Plowz and Mowz, and it works like this: You download the app (available for Apple and Android devices), fill out the form with your home address and whichever service you're requesting (the app works for plowing snow in the winter, as well as lawn care and clean up in the spring, summer and fall), and wait for someone to contact you with a price quote for the service you requested. You can even get a photo sent to you when they're done plowing your driveway.

I first saw the story on BringMeTheNews.com, and figured it might only be available in the Twin Cities. But I downloaded the app on my phone and it looks like it'll work here in southeast Minnesota, too. (I didn't want to actually schedule a plow, because I already fired up our snow blower and cleared our driveway earlier this morning.)
