Exciting changes are happening in the design district in Rochester, Minnesota!  A new business just announced that they will be moving into the old Dwell Local spot at 602 7th Street NW.

New Business Alert for Rochester, Minnesota!

Just after the pandemic hit, Dwell Local stated that their Rochester location would be closing.  Their storefront was full of fun plants and had so many unique and creative pieces to browse, it was always a fun place to shop.  They do have another location open in Zumbrota but since that announcement, the shop in Rochester has been pretty quiet.  Thankfully, that is all about to change.

Garden Party Books just created a new Facebook page, Twitter account, Instagram page, and excitedly shared the following news:

🚨🚨🚨 Major Announcement, #Rochmn 🚨🚨🚨

Wow! Check out how Rochester has changed throughout the years in these Google photos.

As we are soaring down Hwy 52, it is hard to imagine what life was like in our town before the Target store was built where it is today. Or the house that you live in now, at one point in town, that wasn't there. In fact, Rochester has grown so fast throughout the years, most of our houses weren't even around 50 years ago! Don't believe me? Look through these photos to get a glimpse of what Rochester was like years ago.
