Eyota, MN (KROC-AM News) - An Eyota man, who was placed on probation for a child pornography conviction a couple of years ago, is back in jail and expected to face new charges after a probation violation check last weekend.

Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Jim Schueller says deputies visited the home of 23-year-old Ethan Olson on Sunday and discovered he was in possession of an iPad. After he entered guilty pleas to 4 counts of possession of child pornography in July 2017, Olson was given a stayed prison sentence and placed on supervised probation for 5 years. One of the terms of his probation was a strict prohibition on the ownership operation of any Internet device unless it was approved and closely supervised by his probationary officer.

Sergeant Schueller says the deputies seized the iPad and it was submitted for a forensic examination, which uncovered multiple files allegedly containing child pornography.
