I love finding bargains at garage sales so I might need to take a trip up to Minnesota's largest outdoor flea market! It's two and a half hours from Rochester, Minnesota, just south of St. Cloud, in South Haven. It's called the Wright County Swappers Meet. This flea market is so popular that they were voted the best flea market in the state by WCCO viewers!

The Wright County Swappers Meet is every Saturday, April through October plus extended weekends for holidays: the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, July 4th weekend, and Labor Day weekend. It's an early-in-the-day flea market so if you want to check it out you'll have to get up pretty early. They open at sunrise and close at 1:30 PM.

On their website they say on an average weekend there are 150-200 sellers and on holiday weekends there are 350+ sellers, so you're bound to find something good! They say there are all sorts of kinds of sellers ranging from antiques and home goods to video games and sporting equipment. Also if you like live music, some weekends there's live music playing!

Admission and parking are all free at the market. There are also food vendors on site selling all kinds of food and drinks so you stay full while taking your time shopping. They also have portapotties and flush toilets on site, plus there's an ATM if you need to take out cash.

This definitely sounds like a place I should check out. I love going to garage sales and this is like a garage sale times ten! Speaking of great deals, there are a few restaurants around Rochester where your kids can eat for free. Keep scrolling to check them out.
