Halvorson was accused of involvement in an attack on a 28-year-old man that was witnessed by the victim’s 2-year-old daughter and left him with a concussion. The attack occurred on May 28th when the victim answered a knock on the door to his apartment in the 1300 block of 4th Avenue Southwest and two men barged into the residence.

One of the intruders, identified as the ex-boyfriend of the victim’s girlfriend, alleged grabbed the 28-year-old man by the throat and pushed him into the bathroom, where he was punched and kicked by his attacker. The police report on the incident indicated the ex-boyfriend told the victim he “was angry” about the relationship.
