Winter weather in Minnesota can throw a lot of things at us — from extreme cold, to snow flurries, to snow showers. But have you ever wondered how you tell a snow flurry from a snow shower? Well, wonder no more.


Monday's forecast called for both snow showers and snow flurries (which eventually turned into a 'steady light snow'.) But what, exactly, is the difference between a snow shower and a snow flurry?
