Iowa Teen Killed in Houston County Crash
Brownsville, MN (KROC AM News) - An Iowa teenager was killed in a traffic crash in Houston County Thursday.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a car driven by a 16-year-old male was driving on Highway 26 near the Iowa border when he lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree.
The driver and a passenger - 16-year-old Tyler Wild of New Albin, Iowa - were taken to a hospital. They were wearing seatbelts but another passenger was not and he was fatally injured. The 15-year-old boy was also from New Albin.
The wreck happened around 4:00 PM between Brownsville and New Albin.
