20-year-old Jayden Emmanuel Del Angel Carreon is charged with one count of felony fleeing.
The criminal complaint says Rochester police were trying to apprehend a suspect on an active arrest warrant at the south Walmart store on March 17.
The wanted person, who is not named in the complaint, fled officers on foot in the store parking lot and entered the passenger's side of a vehicle. The court document also indicates a man was in the driver’s seat of the vehicle.
The driver then fled the scene, the complaint says.

Police identified Carreon as the driver after reviewing surveillance camera footage, the court document states. Carreon was arrested on Friday.
