Unbuckled Driver Killed in Crash on Interstate in Southeast Minnesota
Albert Lea, MN (KROC-AM News)- A two vehicle collision claimed the life of a Minnesota man early Saturday morning.

It happened on Interstate 90 in southeast Minnesota. Emergency responders were dispatched to the collision in Freeborn County around 1:40 a.m.
A car and semi traveling west on the interstate collided about a mile east of the I-90/I-35 interchange in the Albert Lea area, the state crash report says.
24-year-old Oscar Antonio Ramirez was identified as the car driver. The Albert Lea man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ramirez was not wearing a seatbelt and it’s not known if he was under the influence of alcohol, the state report says.
35-year-old Murad Bazarov of New Jersey was driving the semi. He escaped the fatal crash without injuries and was not under the influence of alcohol, according to the report.
The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office and Hayward Fire Department also responded to the deadly crash.
