
Albert Lea Fire Kills Four Dogs, Home Destroyed
Albert Lea, MN (KROC-AM News) - Four dogs perished in an overnight fire in Albert Lea.
Firefighters Battle Early Morning House Blaze
A news release issued by Albert Lea Fire and Rescue says the fire was reported at 2:40 a.m. in the 400 block of Pillsbury Avenue. When firefighters arrived at the scene, they observed flames coming from the back of the house and throughout the second story.
After extinguishing the fire, Albert Lea firefighters remained at the scene for about two hours dealing with hotspots.

Firefighters Battle Early Morning House Blaze
The residents of the house were not present, but four dogs were found dead inside the home after the fire was extinguished. The news release says the home was deemed a total loss, and the damage is estimated at $67,000.
State Fire Marshal Assisting Investigation
An investigator from the Minnesota State Fire Marshal's Office is assisting Albert Lea Fire and Rescue investigators in determining the cause of the fire.
