Justin Moore is more appreciative than ever of his 849,000 Twitter followers after his family had to leave the beach without their pup, Hank, this weekend. The Scottish terrier mix ran off during the family’s vacation in Destin, Fla., but after searching for him for a day to no avail, Moore and his wife and daughters had to leave to make it to one of Moore’s shows in Georgia.

At a loss, Moore took a chance and logged on to Twitter to find help:

“The girls and Kate are beside themselves,” the note read. “I know this is a shot in the dark, but know the folks in the area are great people, and willing to help out where there is a need. In addition, I know we may have fans vacationing in the area."

Moore included details about the dog’s appearance — complete with bow-tie collar — and provided an e-mail address to send information. Then, he waited, while the message spread across the social network.

Fellow country star and tourmate Brad Paisley even stepped in to retweet photos of Hank and help spread the word.

Thankfully, it wasn’t long before the dog was found by two men, whom Justin called Hank’s “saviors":

Moore is opening for Paisley this summer around the country as part of the Crushin’ It tour.
