Lindsay Ell Gives a Thumbs Up After Surgery to Remove Pre-Cancerous Cells
Lindsay Ell shared to her social media on Friday (March 1) that her surgery for the removal of pre-cancerous cells has gone smoothly.
She took to Instagram to share the news that everything during the procedure went accordingly. As she wrote: "Thanks for all the well wishes yesterday...everything went good. Grateful for the doctors & nurses for getting me in before my month trip around the world....I leave tonight, and am a surgery thumbs up."
Ell went on to share on her Instagram Stories a video of her mom, along with Cassadee Pope, hanging out with her dog Cuppy (Ell affectionately refers to the dog as her boyfriend and Pope as her girlfriend). She also shared a video showing all of the many flowers she received, including arrangements from her label Broken Bow Records and Lauren Alaina.
Ell let fans know yesterday (Feb. 28 )that she needed the surgery, writing "I don’t have cancer, but the doctor found pre-cancerous cells growing in my body that need to be removed," on Instagram.
Ell went on to caution that even those who practice a healthy lifestyle should make sure to get regular checkups at the doctor.
Ell recently joined Brantley Gilbert on a new collaboration titled "What Happens in a Small Town." She is also nominated for her first ACM Award for New Female Artist of the Year, up against Carly Pearce, Ashley McBryde and Danielle Bradbery.
