Love Hockey And Supporting The FFA? The Minnesota Wild Has Just The Thing!
If you are a fan of the Minnesota Wild and your local FFA chapter, there is a night coming up at the Xcel Energy Center where you can support the FFA, take in a Wild game, and possible meet a Southern Minnesota farmer who has become rather famous for his YouTube channel.
Monday, March 21st the Minnesota Wild take on the Las Vegas Golden Knights and the evening surrounding the hockey game will be spent celebrating agriculture appreciation which will include a special ticket package that a portion of the purchase price will go towards the Future Farmers of America.
The ticket package gets the buyer into the game, a special Minnesota Wild FFA hat, attendance to a pregame party, with the Millennial Farmer Zach Johnson.
If you aren't familiar with Johnson, you can learn more through his YouTube channel, where he documents his life in agriculture but also shows off some of the lighter sides of living a rural lifestyle in Minnesota. Most recently the Millennial Farmer was in California learning about how agriculture operates on the West Coast.
It's been a pretty busy year for Minnesota FFA Chapters, as the State of Minnesota has debuted and made available a special license plate with a portion of the purchase price going to the Minnesota FFA too.
And to top it off this week is also National FFA week with many area chapters hosting breakfasts and pasta feeds or burger nights this week as a way to get out into the community and highlight all of the work and projects they complete every year.
