Experts Say This Is Minnesota’s Best Mom And Pop Restaurant
There’s just something special about a good mom-and-pop restaurant. Maybe it’s the way the staff treats you like family, or how the recipes have been perfected over generations.
I’ll take a cozy, locally owned restaurant over a chain any day. It's beautiful thinking about how the person running the kitchen probably learned from their parents, who learned from theirs.
Fun fact: my family owned a bar and grill back in the day, so I know firsthand how much heart goes into these family-run businesses. Growing up in that world gave me a deep appreciation for the hard work, dedication, and let’s be honest, really great food that comes from a place built on passion.
These spots don’t just serve meals, they serve history, community, and the kind of flavors you can’t find in a drive-thru. And when a mom-and-pop spot has been around for decades, you know they’re doing something right. That’s exactly the case with one legendary Minnesota restaurant.

Their hand-cut, perfectly aged, charbroiled steaks have earned them more than 4,000 raving reviews, and it’s easy to see why this place was named THE spot to visit in Minnesota.
This isn't the first time Mancini's has been in the spotlight. Just last summer it was named the best under-the-radar steakhouse in Minnesota. Safe to say, if you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out.
