Fortunately, we have some awesome weather on the way with the final week of February giving us some warmer temps. But before you get too excited, let's take a peek at what the Farmer's Almanac has to say about the month ahead here in Minnesota.

Spoiler alert - It's not great news! Sounds like winter isn't ready to pack its bags just yet...

Minnesota’s March Forecast Will Crush Your Spring Dreams:

The first day of spring is officially March 20th, but let’s be real, just because the calendar says so doesn’t mean Mother Nature will be on board.

According to the Farmer’s Almanac, spring is going to take its sweet time showing up, with winter hanging around longer than anyone wants, especially here in the Midwest. Dang it! They’re also calling for a wintry mix right out of the gate, with snow and ice expected in southern Minnesota March 1st through the 3rd.

Meanwhile, the Old Farmer’s Almanac is predicting another blast of cold air to kick off March, followed by more snow in the middle of the month.
