Whether you're exploring the vibrant Twin Cities or unwinding by one of the countless lakes, there’s something in Minnesota that speaks to everyone’s idea of a good time.
Wake up to the thrill of outdoor adventures that shift with the seasons, add in a killer arts scene, sports that’ll keep you cheering and hoping year after year, and a food scene packed with diverse flavors, and you've got everything you need to live your best life.
Sure, we don't have "the city that never sleeps" or the largest amusement park in the world, but Minnesota definitely has its own unique charm - so it’s no wonder we’re now ranked among the most fun places to live!

These states help residents stay active and socialize, and they’re also ideal for travelers who want to make the most out of the limited amount of time that they have to explore.” - Wallet Hub

Florida claimed first place, with California, New York, Nevada, and Colorado rounding out the top 5. But the Land of 10,000 Lakes holds its own with a diverse array of arts and entertainment venues, movie theaters, and casinos.
Here's how we ranked in a few of the categories:
4th – Performing-Arts Theaters per Capita
