Minnesota Bar Responds After ‘Complaint’ Of Not Being Child Friendly
OK, this just might be a pet peeve of mine, but seriously leave the infants and small children at home when you are heading out to a bar or brewery. After instances of customer complaints we feel obligated to make the following announcement: Although children are welcome at The Local 105 please note we DO NOT have any amenities for them (including a children's menu, high chairs, booster seats, or maraschino cherries for their Shirley Temple's. Thank you for understanding we are a pub/tavern.
Reaction to the post has been very supportive, many applauded online the response stating that it's an adult-based business, although there has been at least one person critical of the post.
I don't see anything wrong with The Local 105's stance. It's their business and while they aren't BANNING children, they are welcome, they simply don't really have anything for them. And to me, and several hundred others who liked the post and or shared it, that's OK with us too.
