A Minnesotan named Allan is easy to spot when he's out driving around because his car is hard to miss. He recently turned an old convertible into a drivable version of his favorite toy from when he was a kid.

I liked to play with all kinds of toys growing up. My brother and I would play with Legos, I loved playing with Barbies, Polly Pockets, and American Girl Dolls. I also really liked riding my bike around and doing other stuff outside like hula hoop, jump rope, and skip it. I never had a Red Flyer wagon though and that was Allan's favorite toy growing up.

Yep, Allan was able to turn an old convertible into a drivable Red Flyer wagon. How cool is that! KARE 11 says that the 83-year-old retired beet farmer "spent three months transforming a $300 junkyard Pontiac convertible" into this epic car.

His original Red Flyer wagon he played with 80 years ago is actually still around. He restored it himself and has it on display at the Red River Valley Sugarbeet Museum (which he helped found, by the way).

Allan says that being able to ride around in a Red Flyer wagon again "'makes [him] feel younger.'"

If I were to turn a car into a drivable version of one of my favorite toys I was trying to figure out what it would be. The only thing I can think of would be a Barbie convertible. Can you imagine me driving around in that around Rochester? That would be hilarious!
