Minnesota’s Mayo Clinic Just Unveiled a New National Ad Campaign

Minnesota's world-renowned Mayo Clinic just launched a new national advertising campaign that you'll soon be seeing on TV and online.

It's the largest private employer in the state of Minnesota. It's been ranked the best hospital in the nation for seven years in a row. Rochester's own Mayo Clinic is a name known around the world-- literally-- for its outstanding healthcare.

And now, Mayo Clinic has just unveiled a new national advertising campaign, all designed to promote the fact that ground-breaking, never-done-before procedures are all being accomplished day in and day out right here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.

According to a release from Mayo Clinic's News Network via Cision PR Newswire, the theme of the new campaign is 'Transforming Health Care' and was designed to build on Mayo's 'The Power of Answers' campaign which debuted in 2020.

The new campaign features three different 30 and 60-second commercials all designed, filmed and edited here in the North Star State. The release says they all 'create visually stunning metaphorical representations of the futuristic practices used today across its hospital network.'

The new commercials are titled 'Imaginable,' 'Predictable,' and 'Seeable,' and the release says they 'illustrate the ways Mayo Clinic is literally removing barriers through its innovation and team-based model of care.'

The release quoted Mayo's chief marketing officer, Sherri Gilligan, who explained the thinking that went into devising the new campaign:

At Mayo Clinic, we have reimagined health care and continue to challenge what was previously commonplace — the unknowns, the limitations, the lack of options. We've dedicated ourselves to removing these barriers from the patient experience during treatment and are applying that same dedication to bring these capabilities to life through our latest advertising creative.

The release also noted that instead of using artificial intelligence or computer-generated graphics, the commercials all use real-life elements found at Mayo Clinic, including state-of-the-art LED walls and floors the creative team used to create unique backdrops and lighting environments.
