Southeast Minnesota Just Got a Brand-New Cannabis Lounge

Lanesboro has always been the ultimate spot to slow down, whether you're hitting the river on a tube, staying at one of cozy B&Bs, or catching a show, or all of the above. But if you’ve been downtown as of late, you might have noticed one of the town's local spots just got a major glow-up.

5th Sun Gardens didn't just move into a new location on Coffee Street, they opened a full-on cannabis dispensary and consumption lounge!

At their previous spot, they focused on low-dose THC edibles and drinks. But now, they’ve officially leveled up with a Minnesota microbusiness license, meaning you're getting a whole new experience that goes way beyond your standard dispensary run.

And the new space is built to be an actual hangout.

Upstairs is where you'll find all your shop faves: edibles, flower, and pre-rolls. But, once you head downstairs or on the patio, you'll see what really makes this new spot so unique.

They’ve built out a legit consumption lounge, complete with comfy seating, a jukebox, TVs, and a "canna bar". It’s easily one of the coolest spots around where you’re not just stopping in to shop. You can actually hang out and enjoy eligible THC products there, too.

According to a recent post on their Facebook page, they’re even introducing a "Build Your Own THC Edible Flight." You can mix and match three different treats to enjoy inside the lounge or out on the patio.

The new spot is officially open to the public, but The Lanesboro Area Chamber of Commerce is celebrating with a ribbon cutting at 4pm this Thursday, September 24th.
