Nine Area Teams Remained Ranked in Latest Minnesota High School Football Rankings
There was some movement from a week ago.
There were three new number-one ranked teams this week. In Class A BOLD moved to #1 after Minneota fell to 3-1 in Week 4. In Class AAAA Rocori took the top spot after Hutchinson fell in their Week 4 matchup against Becker 24-22. (Becker is ranked #8 in Class AAAA). Maple Grove jumped to #1 in Class AAAAAA after Eden Prairie fell in their Week 4 showdown.

Nine-Man Minnesota High School Football Rankings
Lanesboro moved from #2 to #3 this week after a come-from-behind victory for Houston. The Lanesboro Burros were able to take advantage of a late turnover to beat the Hurricanes. Spring Grove remained at #6 this week after a Saturday afternoon win over rival Grand Meadow.
Cherry is new to the Top 10 this week in Nine-Man football, while Fertile-Beltrami moved from #3 to #2.

BOLD is the new #1 in the Class A rankings, while Section 1 representative Fillmore Central stayed put at #6. Minneota, the previous #1, fell down to #9. Lester Prairie and New York Mills tied at #2 and Mahnomen/Waubun and Mayer Lutheran tied at #4.

Chatfield remained at #1 after a big win over Lewiston-Altura last week, while the Caledonia Warriors remained at #3 after their big win over Triton in Week 4 action. Minneapolis North stayed at #2.
The Gophers and Warriors will meet in Week 6 of the regular season and we will have the action on 103.1 KFIL.
