Oxbow Park was forced to close after suffering extensive damage from all the rain in the area - large trees down, flooded roads, and more. They closed indefinitely at the end of June. As we head into August, great news, they are officially back open. The good news was posted over the weekend on their Facebook page.

At first, they were able to open the park, but still had some roads closed, including the main entrance. As of Friday, July 26th, all roads were officially re-open:

All Roads into Oxbow Park & Zollman Zoo are now OPEN. The Zoo is open regular business hours 10am-4pm.

Campground Update: All electrical sites are open and operational. There are a limited amount of non-electric sites open. Please call the park for availability 507-328-7340.

Volunteers from near and far came together to help. Many helped with the cleanup efforts, while others donated money to get the park up and running as quickly as possible. You can check out the pictures on their Facebook page.
