A restaurant in Southeast Minnesota recently sent out an urgent request for help.

Misplaced Magnolia, located in Kasson, shared with their Facebook fans recently that they are struggling to keep their doors open.  After 2 years of serving the community and making many new friends, in order for their doors to stay open, they need people to come through them.

This post is a request for your help.
As we approach our 2nd Anniversary we look back on the past two years and recall all the friends we’ve made, how proud we are to have been nominated for local awards and to have maintained a 4.8 rating across social media.
Yet we struggle to keep our doors open. Operating a family owned business in a small town is hard. Unlike restaurants in Rochester who have large numbers of clinic visitors to fill their seats, we rely solely on our local residents and those from out of town who have decided that we are worth the drive. A good football game or local fund-raiser will leave our dining room empty and after last winter with back-to-back weekend blizzards and sub-zero temps we started our summer in a hole we haven’t been able to climb out of.
Here is where we need your help. Call 507-634-6646 and make a reservation. Share all our posts. Tell your friends and family.
To keep our doors open we need you to come back through them.
Thank you for your help. We hope to see you soon.

Next time you get asked, "Where should we go eat?" maybe try something new.  From all of the reviews, it sounds like Misplaced Magnolia has a pretty tasty all-u-can eat bbq buffet!
