Rochester City Council Says NO To Keeping Liquor Stores Open Until 10pm

The Rochester City Council decided NOT to extend the hours of liquor stores in town to 10pm. Under the current law, liquor stores in Rochester must close at 8pm Monday- Thursday, 9pm on Friday and 10pm on Saturday.

Are there any other places in the entire state of Minnesota that close that early? The council did approve a change in the ordinance that will allow breweries to sell carry-out beer until 10pm. (Source: TSM News Dept- Kim David)
